Medical card holders are entitled to a free eye test every two years and free glasses or a contribution towards other glasses of your choice. However if you have certain medical or eye conditions that affect your eye sight you may be entitled to more frequent sight testing using your medical card. Margaret and her team are happy to complete the application form for you providing an accompanying letter explaining your requirements.

PRSI
Those paying PRSI are entitled to a free sight test every 12 to 18 months. Budget changes in December 2009 cancelled the right to get a contribution towards glasses or contact lenses.
